Review by hotel critic
During our delightful escape to the Cotswolds, we found ourselves at a charming hotel that provided a lovely backdrop for our culinary adventures. The onsite restaurant quickly became a highlight of our stay, where I explored their innovative menu, which featured a blend of classic and modern dishes. One morning, our breakfast was served through an elegant little door from the kitchen, an endearing touch reminiscent of fine dining at home. I opted for the sausage and eggs, which arrived perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It was a wonderful reminder of how vital a good breakfast is to start your day, especially when planning to explore the region's picturesque views. The bar was an inviting spot to unwind post-dinner, where I enjoyed a carefully crafted cocktail while soaking in the cozy ambiance. The air-conditioned dining area made for a comfortable setting to peruse the menu, while the free WiFi was a practical touch that kept me connected. All in all, our two-night stay was quite fulfilling. If you find yourself in the area, this hotel's culinary charm deserves a spot on your itinerary.
